Each year we sponsor two $500 scholarships for seniors attending Lake Mills High School.
The purpose of our scholarship program is:
- To give something back to our community
- To increase awareness of public power
- To encourage technical training for graduating high school seniors
- To educate youth about careers in their communities
- To provide WPPI member municipal utilities with a pool of trained linemen
- To inform customers about the benefits of owning a municipal utility

Continuing Education Scholarship
- To be eligible, the student must be a graduating senior completing high school in the current year at Lake Mills High School
- Students’ parents must be current customers of Lake Mills Light & Water
- Students must be registered as a full time student at a post-secondary educational institution
- Complete the application available at your high school guidance office
- Return it, along with a transcript of your grades, to the Guidance Department
- Awards will be announced in May
The $500 scholarship will be awarded with proof of enrollment. A copy of the fee statement or other proof of enrollment must be submitted to:
