Emergency Notification System

The city of Lake Mills is implementing an emergency notification system: AlertSense.

This system is designed to provide emergency alert information via text and email to Lake Mills residents and Lake Mills Light & Water utility customers.

Get Notified During an Emergency

This system will be used to alert residents and customers to emergencies such as:

  • Electric power outages
  • Rock Lake beach closures
  • Sanitary sewer issues
  • Snow removal issues
  • Storm damage issues
  • Street closures
  • Water system issues

This system is capable of providing alerts to the entire city as well as specific areas and individual addresses.

This system will not be used to:

  • Provide community event information
  • Solicit information
  • Announce school closings
  • Announce weather events
  • Provide general lake conditions
  • Notify of Police or Fire activities
