The city of Lake Mills is implementing an emergency notification system: AlertSense.
This system is designed to provide emergency alert information via text and email to Lake Mills residents and Lake Mills Light & Water utility customers.
Get Notified During an Emergency
This system will be used to alert residents and customers to emergencies such as:
- Electric power outages
- Rock Lake beach closures
- Sanitary sewer issues
- Snow removal issues
- Storm damage issues
- Street closures
- Water system issues
This system is capable of providing alerts to the entire city as well as specific areas and individual addresses.
This system will not be used to:
- Provide community event information
- Solicit information
- Announce school closings
- Announce weather events
- Provide general lake conditions
- Notify of Police or Fire activities
