All customers are eligible for assistance through The Crisis Fund. The fund is in place to help residents experiencing financial difficulties, but who may not qualify for income-eligible programs.
The program typically provides matching funds for customers to pay their electric bill for a specific period of time (e.g., customer pays half the monthly bill and Lake Mills Light & Water pays half for six months). Response to requests are considered on a case-by-case basis.
