Eligibility Guidelines
- High school juniors or seniors interested in pursuing a career as an electric line technician may apply for the $500 scholarship.
- Student’s parents must be a current customer of Lake Mills Light & Water.
- The student should be planning to attend an Electrical Power Distribution program at one of four Wisconsin Technical Colleges that offer courses.
How to Apply
A letter of recommendation is requested from a teacher, counselor or employer that addresses the applicant’s skills that are pertinent to the job (ex. manual dexterity; in good physical condition; willing to work at all heights and in all weather; able to comprehend and follow written instructions; safety conscious).
Deadline for submitting application and letter of recommendation to your high school guidance office is April 16, 2010.
The scholarship recipient will be announced in May.
The scholarship check will be awarded with proof of enrollment. Proof of enrollment must be submitted to:
